Founded in 2015 in Burundi with share capital of BIF 210,000,000, MEDIABOX is a digital services company operating in the fields of software engineering, design and development of IOTs (Internet of Things), assembly of agricultural Drones, e-commerce platform and recently Mediabox has been granted a licence to distribute the internet throughout the country. The company employs 109 people: 82 on permanent contracts 27 on fixed-term contracts Mediabox has 350 digitisation agents subcontracted to Infinity Group as part of its contract with the World Bank to digitise the files of the Department of Land Titles and the National Land Registry under the supervision of the Ministry of Justice.
